Real winter, warm summer

Cold winters and warm summers shape the climate in our region. In this snow-guaranteed area the snow falls in October and lasts until May.

During that time temperatures from -40 °C to +5 °C are not unusual. The day lasts however at least 4 hours, and all activities can be arranged during daylight.

Days in March and April are a little warmer than the months before and already much longer than in Central Europe.

The real summer lasts from June to August. During June and July the sun only sets for a few hours and during night it doesn't get really dark.
